Ice-T Forms Black Ice, Readies New Album
Ice-T [ tickets ] has gathered several hip-hop/rap artists to act upon on his newest project, Black person Ice [ tickets ], which will release a newly transcription, "Urban Legends," July 1, according to a press release. Ice-T and writing style vets Black Silver, Aceyalone, Too $hort, RBX, Marc Exist, and Tash of Tha Alkaholiks will be joined on the Blackness Sparkler send off by up-and-comers Fedi Demarco, Act!on, Griffen, Faxx, Briny Flow and E-Rule.The "Urban Legends" project, executive produced by Babe Book of Ruth, is being billed as the offset ever "Gangsta Pelvic girdle Hop-skip" transcription. Ice-T said in a statement that the project conjures up early blame, which he says was done for merriment."When I started, no ace had even bought a cable car from rapping. You but did it with your friends, but now, those friends, they're the hottest rappers," he said. "This [album] is old style ... I hardly called up my friends and asked them to come down."
